Technical manager job description

WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced and dynamic technical manager to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will act as the key bridge between technical teams and clients, ensuring project success through quality oversight, resource management, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

Serve as the primary interface between technical teams and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Oversee all technical aspects of projects to guarantee quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Manage and coordinate resources across multiple teams to meet project objectives.

Lead and supervise design reviews, working closely with engineers and stakeholders.

Address and resolve technical challenges proactively during project execution.

Translate complex technical details into clear, accessible language for clients and non-technical team members.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical discipline.

12-15 years of relevant experience, specifically in the KSA region, working on mega and giga projects.

Proven track record in a technical management role within engineering or consulting projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to navigate complex technical challenges and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Prior experience working in the Middle East region, preferably Saudi Arabia, is highly advantageous.
