Technical Services Manager

Job description / Role

Are you a subject matter expert for technical support services? Do you have at least 5 years’ dealership experience in Grove, Hyster, and Caterpillar? Yes? Then our recruitment specialists want to talk to you!

We’re looking for an accomplished Technical Services Manager, with ample engineering experience, who would:

- Lead support and maintenance activities and direct work of regional and satellite workshops for KSA for service of all plant sales (Perkins engines, Grove cranes, Hyster etc.)
- Act as chief liaison with principal suppliers
- Handle known and ad-hoc customer service and maintenance issues
- Manage and meet key account holder requirements
- Manage service and maintenance budget and meet outcomes of financial plans
- Produce support and maintenance plans to meet customer requirements
- Negotiate and oversee production of maintenance contracts
- Provide expert level technical advice
- Maintain Inventory control
- Oversee ISO activities

Salary:
SAR 30,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Engineering degree or equivalent, background in mechanical engineering and maintenance, minimum of 15 years overall experience, with at least 5 years with a recognized dealership i.e. Grove, Hyster, Perkins, Caterpillar, Terex etc
- Understand Principles for negotiating a maintenance and support contract, and service level agreements
- Negotiate and agree a maintenance and support contract, which meet customer expectations and budgetary limitations
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, key account customers, and principal suppliers
- Manage customer expectations
- Investigate stakeholder, principal supplier and customer issues
