Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Technical Writer is responsible for creating and writing various types of technical documents (RFP, RFI, technical Proposals, Commercial proposal, Manuals, policies, procedure documents) and Presentations, and explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language. Edit, standardize, or revise material prepared by other writers or personnel, according to the policies and procedures followed within the Organization.

- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Sales Support department / section to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
- Prepare proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, obtaining approval.
- Responsible for creating and writing various types of technical documents (RFP, RFI, technical Proposals, Commercial proposal, Manuals, policies, procedure documents……..) and Presentations
- Explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language
- To able to peer review technical documents for grammar, content and style of writing
- Develop innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations
- Able to document business processes and write detailed functional requirements
- Analyze and capture the needs of the target audience
- Quality control written material to ensure compliance, completeness and accuracy
- Assist in creating business development and marketing research materials.
- Determine proposals concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal, attending strategy meetings.
- Obtain approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and their team
- Proposal writing
- Analyze and capture the needs of the target audience
- Assist in writing technical information
- Bring consistency in the write ups and Consolidate Technical Proposal

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or in any related field
- 6 - 8 Years of Relevant Experience in Information Technology industry
- Proposal Writing Skills
- Fluent in English & Arabic (Speaking, Reading & Writing)
