Our client is a leading Real Estate/ Mall Management Group with an excellent reputation across the region.

We are looking for an experienced Tenant Relations Manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Tenant Relations Manager is the primary contact for all tenants and plays a key role in ensuring that all our retail partners are highly positive. Tenants should have complete confidence that any concerns they may raise are addressed fairly and constructively so that any issues are speedily resolved.

At the same time the TRM must be active in supporting Mall Operations to ensure that tenants fully comply with mall regulations at all times. It should continually be made clear that these are not only essential for effective asset management, but are also for the benefit of all tenants, enabling them to optimize their trading performance.

Reporting to: Vice-President – Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tenant Liaison
• Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationships.
• Engage tenants on performance discussion and explore opportunities for expansion
• Conduct regular meetings with tenants to understand their needs and business direction
• Ensure tenant complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively in accordance with agreed targets
• Assist mall management in ensuring that tenants comply with lease terms and operational regulations
• Ensure that tenants are kept fully informed of on-site operational issues, marketing events, regulatory amendments etc.
• Ensure that a formal mall/tenant visit schedule for is established for staff and formal reports are prepared on these
• Periodically conduct tenant satisfaction studies, analyse the findings and propose improvements as required.
• Ensure that all communications are confirmed in writing and archived for easy reference.

Performance Management
• Establish systems for monitoring retail sales performance and provide regular reports as required
• Establish systems to monitor overall mall performance with a view to identifying underlying trends and developing action plans to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities
• Track and analyze the performance of tenants with multiple units
• Identify problem tenants and feedback concerns to Leasing
• Regularly review and improve upon operational systems and processes

Requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or any related field
• At least 5 years’ experience of relevant experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge in GCC retail market
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in leasing or retail operational management
• Excellent command of Arabic is required along with competent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of tenancy related issues in shopping malls
• Arab nationals only based in Saudi now
