Job description / Role
Accountabilities
- Act as the Contractors interlocutor for all necessary technical clarifications.
- Manage the Contractor’s tests and start-up facilities (flow, air diffusion, etc).
- Approve with the Contractor’s the controls of functional analysis.
- Inform the Contractors of damage/quality defects on installed/inspected materials/equipment.
- Assist Contractors with any construction site adjustment and small changes prior to T&C.
- Assist Contractor in defining corrective actions for technical difficulties/deadline issues.
- Check the preliminary self-monitoring done by the installers.
- Assist the Contractors in commissioning of the installations (electrical and mapping tests).
- Suggest solutions for the improvement of safety, and on-site environmental quality activities.
- Report to the Contractors all activities and progress related to works.
- Collect information to draw up “as-built” documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, quality assurance, quality control.
Additional Skills
- Minimum of five years in the construction industry, with quality assurance, quality control experience
- To be present on site six days a week, except public holidays, recovery, maximum ten hours per day.
- To control and advise on the productivity and efficiency of installation resources provided by the contractor.
