Job description / Role
As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for installation supervision, testing and commissioning of different SDH & PDH products from multiple vendors including but not limited to Coriant / Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson and provide first level technical / onsite support to other business segments within the company and to the customers.
As a crucial part of the team the candidate must have adequate theoretical and hands on experience on the following products: Ericsson SPO 1400 Series (SPO 1460, SPO1410, Photonic Attachment Unit), OMS 1600 Series (OMS 1684, OMS 1664, OMS 1634, OMS 1674, OMS 1654, OMS 1644), Ericsson NMS (SOEM)
Theoretical and hands-on experience on the following will be an added plus:
- Alcatel Lucent products e.g., 1660sm, 1511BA, 1511max.
- Keymile UMUX1500, XMC25, XMC23
- Juniper / cisco routers and switches.
Requirements
- Ideally you'll hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communications Engineering)
- With minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in related field.
- Fluent in English communication (writing & speaking) is required.
- Transferable Iqama is highly preferred.
