Wood is currently looking for a consultant transmission engineer

Wood is currently looking for a consultant transmission engineer with DWDM experience and radio GSM knowledge to work on the engineering and project management services with our Telecoms & Security team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• To provide a radio transmission network design.
• Expertise in many telecom or security systems.
• Experience in data networks.
• Proficiency in GSM technology, protocols, and standards.
• Ability to design radio engineering and transmission systems.
• Relevant work experience in radio engineering, especially with TETRA systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electronics & communications or electrical engineering.
• Certifications related can be beneficial.
• Potential site visits to onshore and offshore sites (helicopter, boat).
