Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: To support in the pre-construction period the construction manager and track method expert in making plans for the installation period, in terms of means, tools, plant, access/egress and transportation of all materials with the requirements below:

• Technical drawings and specification
• Within the forecast resources
• Within the programme
• According to the detailed method statements
• In line with the QC standards
• In line with HSE requirement

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Set the conditions so the works can be carried out as per schedule, within the budget, in line with the quality standards and as per health and safety requirements
• write documentation (procedures, reports, method statements) related to the construction phase and testing & commissioning phase
• Support the Tools & plant manager in the numbers, shape and make of special tools Support in making the ITP plans and procedures
• Closely communicate with the survey manager in regard to the needs of the setting outs and other reference points needed for installation of the track components

Requirements

• Civil/mechanical technical degree
• Speak, read and write English

Desired Knowledge/Experience:
• Minimum 10 years experience in (light rail) track works
• Experience with International Rail road/Metro new build constructions
• Experience with rail systems on concrete superstructures
• Experience with 3rd rail systems
• Experience with testing and commissioning
• Good knowledge of track construction methodology
