Job Description:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining training records throughout the organisation, including safety.
- Establish and provide induction and orientation training to all employees.
- Plan, prepare and conduct training needs analysis within the organisation and develop and implement programs for the training identified.
- Conduct in-house training courses as deemed necessary.
- Coordinate and liase with external training providers so as to ensure that the best possible training is offered to staff.
- Develop, implement and continuously review succession planning within the organisation.
- Develop and implement certified traineeship programs within the organisation.
- In conjunction with Worley Engineering, oversee the IE Aust accredited Graduate Engineer Program.
- Update and review organisational Job Descriptions, Senior Management CV's and other organisational functions as required.
- Review and coordinate staff, contractor and agency yearly performance appraisals.
- Become custodian of the existing Skill Enhancement Program and continually review so as to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation and the employees.
- Develop a training service unit that could be marketed within the Transfield and Worley Engineering businesses as well as other clients within our industry.

Requirements

Qualification:
- Computer Literacy, Essential - Microsoft Packages Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Computerised training records system.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to relate well with people and develop strong working relationship with employees of all levels within the organisation.
- Experienced in a training position, preferably in a combined delivery/co-ordination role.
- Degree qualification in an appropriate discipline (Business Administration or/ HR).
