Travel Coordinator

Job description / Role

Our client, a large philanthropic organisation requires a Relation and Logistics Manager / Travel Coordinator to join on a permanent residential basis in Riyadh, KSA.
The main purpose of the position is to coordinate all administrative, logistical and participant relations aspects of the international internship programs to ensure an exceptional experience for each participant.

The main responsibilities of the Relations & Logistics Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Program Management, Participant Communication, Logistics, Processes, Processes and Procedures, Evaluation and Reporting and Continuous Improvement.

Requirements

• Suggests policies and procedures for interns abroad (e.g., in regards to travel and accommodation)
• Manages planning calendars of multiple concurrent programs deliveries, Updates materials for individual intern cohorts as needed
• Coordinates activities of program instructors and facilitators, tracks program expenses and prepares invoices
• Directs and coordinates the full cycle from procurement of suitable vendors, to implementation and execution
• Organizes and manages vendors for providing accommodation, transportation etc.
• Liaises and negotiates with vendors on offering
• Recommends improvements to policies and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective output
• Suitable candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field, master or equivalent post-graduate qualification is a plus with 5+ years in Event Management, Project Management or Travel-related field
