Employment: Full Time

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Develop the Detailed Planning, for Electric and Instrument equipment included in the turnaround scope.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Responsible for the planning function of the all approved E&I jobs included in the turnaround scope.
• Make a site visit and prepare turnaround work packages that will include work scopes, plans, schedules, resources, BOM (spare parts requirement), blinds list, drawings, Method Statement, JSA, cost estimate, etc.
• Identify turnaround activities, estimate resources, durations, establish precedence, as the main input for the scheduling.
• Identify needs of assisted access (scaffolding, man-lifter), insulation removal as preparative activities for the E&I related works. Notify to the Scaffolding Planner.
• With the help of Static Equipment Planner, estimate resources and durations for those mechanical activities related to E&I works, i.e., remove and reinstate control valves, orifice plates, electric motors, etc.
• Identify flanged joints to be hot-bolting during the pre-turnaround phase; ensure they are included in the hot-bolting plan.
• Field tagging for the proper identification of the locations of the different E&I works, which shall include CV, PZV, transmitters, electric motors. Use of color code to identify nature of the work.
• Work along with Material Planner and Warehouse personnel to do the Bag and Tag of the material requested for each Work Order, as part of the Pre-Turnaround activities.
• Work closely with the execution contractor to ensure his complete familiarization and commitment with the turnaround plan, which will be a key factor for the success of the turnaround.
• Prepare Work Instructions, for the E&I works under turnaround scope.
• Identify critical lifting operations tor require a comprehensive rigging study.
• Assembly work packages by grouping works of similar nature, i.e., CV’S, PZV’S, Transmitters, etc. Separate work-packages shall ba assembled for those E&I related works to be executed by mechanical crews (remove/reinstate valves, etc.)
• Collect actual progress activity-wise during the execution phase of the turnaround, and update the data in ROSER.
• Prepare post-turnaround report upon completion of the whole turnaround
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Tar Planning Manager.

Salary:
SAR 6000 to 7,000 fixed per month covering all working hours

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrument Engineering
• Minimum 6-7 year’s maintenance of E&I equipment in an oil and gas context with at least 5 years’ experience in execution and/or planning roles.

• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry
• Experience in turnaround planning practices.
• Planning and performance management.
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a diversified and critical environment
• Data analysis and report writing skills
• Attention to details
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Basic knowledge of Primavera
• Knowledge of ROSER (a plus)
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
