- Conduct market research to source new vendors and finalize their registration and qualification.
- Assist in monitoring vendor master data management including creating, updating and deleting data.
- Ensure list of vendors is updated on a continuous basis to reflect existing vendors and potential pipeline.
- Support with the vendor management process including vendor pre-qualification, evaluation, development, escalation.
- Establish the best practices and performance indicators such as quality, delivery and collaboration.
- Coordinate with buyers and end-users to evaluate vendor performance and highlight underperforming vendors to take remedial actions.
- Develop regular reports on the department’s progress and outputs to be shared with the Vendor Management
- Manager to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Organize and drive adoption of the SAP Business Network by suppliers (e.g., communication, supplier summits) based on standard Ariba functionality.
- Create and maintain information material for suppliers based on standard SAP material
- Organize and operate a 'help desk' for suppliers for general and process issues pertaining to onboarding, PO, ASN, SES and invoice transactions (technical issues with SBN to be covered by SAP).
- Resolve supplier issues based on FAQs and in collaboration with Finance, Procurement and IT
- Develop and maintain supplier FAQs documentation
- Investigate and develop requirements for automation options (e.g., Chatbot)
- Develop process optimization action based on experienced supplier issues
- Report on supplier adoption, transactional traffic, issues and issue resolution
- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in vendor management and vendor sourcing.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Procurement systems and software.
- Experience in using SAP and Ariba Systems.
- Knowledge of vendor management regulations and standards.
