Job description / Role
Our client is a leading organisation that has been awarded a large Oil & Gas project on the new Jazan Industrial City project in Saudi Arabia. Our client is seeking an experienced Vice Construction Manager to work site based on a 10 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.
This is an excellent opportunity to work long term contract on a multi-$Bn prestigious project within a leading organisation, and earn a tax free salary.
Salary & Package:
* Long term contract (12 months renewable)
* 10/2 rotation, single status
* 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
* Site / camp based position
* All accommodation, food, laundry provided at site
* Transportation provided by the company
Requirements
* Engineering degree
* Strong construction management experience of large multi discipline sites
* Experience of working on camp based construction sites in remote Middle East locations
* Experience on Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical/ Power projects
* Experience of managing construction on behalf of the client rather than through an EPC
* Previous experience of working in Saudi Arabia (Aramco experience desirable)
* Experience of executing Bill of Quantity construction contracts
* Strong communicator written and oral
* Strong and effective leader and coordinator
* Organised, disciplined, able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and parallel tasks
* Strong Microsoft software skills, particularly Excel
* Strong report writing skills
