Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

VP Operations in Fuel Retail/Petrol Station Group in Riyadh, KSA

• Responsible for development, training and management of Area Retail Managers covering over 100 Service Stations
• Establish KPI objectives for all Area Managers based on Company budget expectations
• Responsible for overseeing the recruitment training and development of Contract Managers
• Oversee Contractor Management processes
• Completing Health and Safety audits
• Liable for Regional KPI performance
• Represent the Company as required in Licensing/Legal hearings
• Complete routine performance reviews with Area Managers
• Conduct Annual Staff appraisals
• Responsible for Maintenance and Repair expenditure
• Conducting Service Station standard visits
• Oversea Shop Supplier activity and manage compliance and development
• Monitor Insurance claims
• Responsible for group store turnover
• Oversea Customer communication processes
• Liaise with all Head Office departments regarding implementation of Company initiatives and schemes
• Ensuring compliance with legislation
• Responsible for operation of motor fuels, convenience products and other backcourt offers through Retail Sites
• Accountable for achieving KPI objectives based upon flawless operations (SHE, Controls & Quality Assurance Sales, profitability, Customer satisfaction & Employee development).
• Ultimate responsibility for the profitability of the Fuel Retail business
• Lead role for the oversight of Fuels Marketing Convenience Retailing & Category Management Programs including Convenience products selection, pricing, promotion, merchandising and Retail Supply chain optimization
• Manage the execution of chain offers & ensure Customers satisfaction.
• Oversee overall business results, KPIs for the Company operated Business.
• Accountable for both near term and longer term performance versus Strategy.
• Ensure Retail investments achieve their objectives & monitor performance through annual site reappraisal process.
• Ensure effective implementation of strategies / plans via the Retail operations

Requirements

• Male candidate
• Currently located in KSA
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor Degree in relevant field
• 10 years’ experience at Management/Chief Officer level in Fuel retail business operations
• 20 years’ experience overall in fuel retail/energy retail to consumers
• Managing operational issues on over 100 fuel sites.
• Driving continuous improvement in forecourt operational standards and KPI’s.
• Collaboratively working with field and head office personnel, maintaining the relationship between both companies.
• Working closely with other areas of the business and benchmarking
• Deliver new initiatives and ensuring fuel sites deliver a great shopping trip for customers
