Position overview:

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual with a strong interest in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You will start with fundamental warehouse operations and progressively receive on-the-job technical training. We will equip you with the skills to become: an expert in warehouse operation and a proficient problem-solver for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities:

1. Warehouse operations & logistics support
Perform loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new equipment prior to dispatch.
Spend time in the spare parts department to understand the inventory management system and workflows.

2. Technical training & apprentice development
Learn and participate in fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems under the guidance of qualified technicians.
Receive ongoing technical training to build a deep understanding of core equipment systems.
Accompany qualified technicians on supervised site visits to observe and learn the practical problem-solving process.

Requirements

Essential criteria:
Language skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English (verbal and written) is mandatory for effective communication in our workplace.
Technical aptitude: A genuine passion for engineering and technology, with a strong desire to learn about mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Attitude & soft skills:
Proactive, diligent, and responsible work ethic.
A strong team player with excellent hands-on and problem-solving abilities.
A keen learner, willing to start with foundational tasks and grow within the role.

Practical requirements:
Some foundational knowledge of technical principles.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Must be able to reliably commute to our warehouse location and work the scheduled hours (Sunday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Preferred qualifications (will be an advantage):
Previous hands-on experience in a warehouse, logistics, or equipment operation environment.
