Role Summary:

WelderPosition for the Saudi operations has become available. Start your career with Baker Hughes a GE company, a leader in the Oilfield Services industry.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, performs welding applications within one or more work teams.
• Performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.
• Helps facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.
• Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives.
• Required to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
• 3+ years of welding experience.
• Knowledge of welding processes – FCAW/SMAW/GMAW/Stick welding.
• Must be able to read Drawings.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime

Desired Characteristics:

• Read paperwork and use computer to retrieve work documents and record production numbers – Windows based applications and SAP as well as Excel spreadsheets
• Manufacturing drill bits’ experience is ideal
