Overview

Saudi Aramco seeks Well Completion Engineering Specialist to work with the Production and Facilities Production Department under the Petroleum Engineering & Development Admin Area.

The Well Completion Engineering Specialist will lead up-stream oil and gas Advanced Well Completion trial tests for offshore and on-shore wells in the areas of Intelligent Completions, Inflow Control Devices, Multistage Fracturing and Sand Control. Lead group of engineers in specific tasks and studies such as a new field development, a new technology trial test and participate in the company engineering standard review and the development of young professionals.

Key Responsibilities

You are expected to be able to perform the following:
- Trial test new advanced well completion technologies
- Provide technical support to designing advanced well completions
- Apply safety related issues and address environmental impact issues
- Perform near wellbore simulations in netool or pipesim
- Analyze results of the simulations and recommend optimum conditions
- Able to look at alternatives, perform economic analysis and identify the most cost-effective alternative

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized and approved program. MSc or PhD is desirable, but not required.

Minimum of 15 years experience in a petroleum engineering organization with a minimum of 10 years in advanced well completion related work.

Very familiar with intelligent completions, inflow control devices, multistage fracturing and Sand Control. Should have extensive experience in at least one disciple of advanced completions.

It's desirable to have reservoir or production engineering experience to supplement the above.
