This highly specialist Workplace Manager position has the potential to go global, as the organisation has extensive development plans over the next 2- 5 years. This will be an exceptionally fast paced and constantly evolving environment and the successful candidate will continually develop the workspace to enhance the lives of the employees, from CEO to Receptionists and all levels of seniority in-between.

You will ensure workplace operations are productive, safe, and an exciting and inspiring environment for all employees and guests. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with all departments, and implementing best practices to optimize workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction. You will have an exceptional attention to detail and a very clear understanding of the use of space, the flow of people and be able to adapt to change at a moment’s notice. The Workplace Manager will also maintain a grasp of the latest workspace trends, competitor activities and how the space can be utilised to develop marketing, press and business development opportunities.

Overseeing the daily operations of the workplace, including facility management, maintenance, and health & safety compliance is just a part of this new role. The core function is to develop and implement workplace policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee and guest experience. Management of budgets, procurement, inventory of office supplies and equipment, and to address and resolve any issues or emergencies in a timely and effective manner are also important here. Having a strong knowledge of how space can change habits and energy, you will fully manage an imminent new office move and utilise the space to its maximum. This will include re-purposing space at very short notice to host PR and press events, celebrate success and re-invent the narrative. The office should be a place that represents the next generation of tech for this global AI company with 100+ clients, and no day will be the same. You must have the passion and energy to keep the pace and inspire the senior team to further enhance and continually re-imagine the workspace.

Requirements:

Reporting into the Chief People Officer (also based in Riyadh) you will be confident in your ability to implement the highest of standards for guest and staff alike. This is a unique opportunity and we are seeking those from a hospitality management background, who have more recently moved into a corporate space for a workplace role. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design, modern working practices and generating exciting ideas that are fit for purpose, and must be compliant with all regulations. You will also be confident in your communication and able to influence others through the development of strong stakeholder relationships. Degree educated within the hospitality or design sectors and in possession of a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in hospitality and corporate, the ideal candidate will already be in a similar workplace role.
