WSO2 Integration Engineer

Description

We are seeking a talented WSO2 Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the WSO2 platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, API Manager, and Identity Server, along with deep technical knowledge of integration patterns, API security, and Java-based development.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using WSO2 Enterprise Integrator (EI), API Manager, and Identity Server.
• Build and customize mediators, sequences, and connectors within WSO2 for system integration.
• Develop and secure REST and SOAP APIs to connect internal and external systems.
• Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
• Deploy, configure, and manage WSO2 servers and clusters in on-premise or cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design) documents.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor system performance, and perform log analysis to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on WSO2 product updates, integration standards, and best practices in API management and identity federation.

Requirements

Work experience:

• 3 years of experience in developing and integrating systems using WSO2 or similar integration platforms.
• Previous experience setting up WSO2 Enterprise Integrator, API Manager, and Identity Server.

Technical skills:

• Experience in developing custom components using WSO2 (Java-based platform).
• Strong proficiency in designing and developing mediators and sequences within WSO2 EI.
• Good knowledge of REST, SOAP, and JMS protocols, as well as API security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and identity management.

Certifications:

WSO2 Certified or Oracle/Sun Certified Java Programmer certification is a plus.
