Associate Electrical Engineer - Critical Systems

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Electrical Building Services expert to join my clients Critical Systems team in their modern Singapore office, and play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting projects in the Data centre and Critical Systems fields.

This role will suit an experienced technical leader, with 15+ years of experience in MEP design & delivery, employed by international consultancies on major projects throughout their career.

The Role

You will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects. You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business, and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

The Skills

A Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), and having gained significant experience in an Electrical Engineering role within the power systems field preferably in a data centre/critical systems context (electrical distribution and power generation systems etc.), and having experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, you are already well-versed in theory behind and use of relevant design software including Amtech, ETAPS or SKM power systems analysis software.

In your most recent position you have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large scale projects and less experienced engineers to deliver to, and exceed client expectations. You have proven ability in producing schematic diagrams, fault and discrimination studies, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development, and crucially - you have a passion for accurate design of power systems.

Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
