Seasoned Recruitment is hiring a Head Chef for a vibrant, high-concept restaurant and café experience that blends bold culinary creativity with a love for pop culture and comic-inspired design. We are looking for a Head Chef who can take ownership of the kitchen, maintain high culinary standards, and inspire a team of chefs to deliver outstanding food consistently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for modern food trends, and a hands-on approach in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
• Full kitchen management, including daily operations and team leadership
• Menu development and innovation in line with the establishment’s brand and concept
• Food cost control, stock management, and supplier coordination
• Staff training, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes
• Maintaining hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
• Working efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Collaboration with owners on kitchen strategy and seasonal changes
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume kitchen
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for bold, creative cuisine and exceptional presentation
• Excellent knowledge of food costing, inventory, and kitchen admin
• Ability to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency under pressure
• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
• Capsicum Culinary Studio
• HTA School of Culinary Art
• Prue Leith Culinary Institute
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate
• HACCP Certification
• Health and Safety (Level 1 or 2)
• Food Handler’s Certificate
Salary:

837 to 1,111
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
