Retail Category Manager - Ecommerce Asia

Quest Search and Selection is working with market leading billion-dollar ecommerce company is looking for Retail Category Managers to join its expanding team based in Asia.

Job Description
* The category managers will develop and implement category plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals
* Build strong relationships with existing suppliers and execute negotiations to secure best pricing, sales programs, and promotional support
* Analyze data to strategize profit growth opportunities for the category and for specific supplier partners
* Identification of selection gaps, the prioritization of new item production, and the development of relationships with new, target suppliers
* Identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for the category and collaborate with internal teams to drive change
* Analyze and anticipate competitor marketing, selection, and pricing strategy

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in buying, product management, vendor management, retail, e-commerce
* High preference to have experience in Category Management from a leading global ecommerce business
* We are looking for candidates that have the following category experience : Home, Food, Baby, Beauty, Consumer Electronics. Books & Stationary
* Professional experience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency with Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions
* Ability to understand multiple retail business models and their technical implementation.
* Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work with ambiguous problems.
* Bachelor's degree
