Renewable Energy Underwriter - Energy Research & Corporate Sustainability Analyst (Internship)

Responsibilities:
• Research & training on energy industry market, clients & trends
• Research & training on corporate sustainability initiatives & trends
• Research & training on climate initiatives at city, state, federal & country levels.
• Develop, track and report on key management metrics.
• Assist in preparation of presentations for senior and executive management
• Assist in the production of written reports to be distributed clients & investors
• Training in green strategies

Requirements:
• Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Energy Management, Environmental Science or a related degree
• Ability to step back and embrace other people’s ideas when they are better
• Ability to grasp concepts and learn quickly
• Understand Key Performance Indicators that drive financial performance
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation skills, including advanced computer proficiency
• Attention to detail & outstanding time management skills
• Knowledge of energy sector
• Knowledge of energy commodities a plus
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organize and work on multiple complex tasks
• Computer literacy, including ability to use a variety of software packages to analyze data
