Our client, a well established food products company is looking to recruit a [b]Commercial Finance Officer for their office based in Khartoum, Sudan. Reporting to Head of Finance, you should be able to lead financial and commercial analysis in the business and be hands on in business analytics. You will carry out critical analysis of the business results and functional costs and review performance against the AOP, financial evaluation of investments, strategic planning, preparing long term financial projections, monitoring profitability of various brands and be the focal point for the business in generating avenues for cost savings and revenue optimisation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountants/MBA (Finance) with at least 10 years of experience within a Food products industry. You must have worked in a Senior Commercial role within a finance function and in a large business with a turnover in excess of 400 billion dollars and the mind set to be part of the growth story.

You should be pragmatic and resilient; comfortable working in an unusual location, strategic and analytical thinker with good project management, interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to garner respect at all levels and possess strong diplomatic skills; sensitive to political issues and be able to negotiate through them positively. Experience in developing markets; African experience would be preferred.
