Health and Safety Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Health & Safety Managers to join them on Data Centre Projects in Sweden.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Liaising with subcontractors and clients
• Managing a team of HSE professionals
• Managing subcontractors and vendors
• Developing method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of actions, permit to work, LOTO, etc
• Carrying out regular site audits and inspections and following up on any corrective actions

You will need

• To have relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Over 5 years’ experience in environmental, health and safety on large construction sites with Tier 1 contractors.
• NEBOSH certificate level qualification.
• Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
• Data Centre Experience is desirable.
• EU Passport
