Job description / Role
Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking Health & Safety Managers to join them on Data Centre Projects in Europe.
You will be responsible for:
• Liaising with subcontractors and clients.
• Managing a team of HSE professionals.
• Managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Developing method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of actions, permit to work, LOTO, etc.
• Carrying out regular site audits and inspections and following up on any corrective actions.
Requirements:
• To have relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
• Over 5 years’ experience in environmental, health and safety on large construction sites with Tier 1 contractors
• NEBOSH certificate level qualification
• Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation
• Data Centre Experience is desirable
• EU Passport is required for this role
