Health and Safety Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking HSE Managers to join them on projects in Finland & Sweden.

You Will Be Responsible for:

• Liaising with subcontractors and clients
• Managing a team of HSE professionals
• Managing subcontractors and vendors
• Developing method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of actions, permit to work, LOTO, etc
• Carrying out regular site audits and inspections and following up on any corrective actions

You Will Need:

• To have relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
• Over 5 years’ experience in environmental, health and safety on large construction sites with Tier 1 contractors
• NEBOSH certificate level qualification
• Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation
• Data Centre Experience is desirable.
• Although this role is in Sweden or Finland, you will not require an EU Passport, however a EU Passport would be advantageous.

Salary:
EUR 7,900 to 8,300 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
