Contracts Manager - French Speaker

Job description / Role

• Required to join an international contractor working on a mega projects in Tunis. The successful candidate will join the management team on this large scale development of hotels, residential, roads, infrastructure etc.

Responsibilities include
• Assist in formation of subcontracts including pre-contract activities, commercial qualification, administration and evaluation of tenders, negotiations of terms and conditions and award
• Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
• Oversee and participate in close out of contracts and deal with claims to satisfactory conclusions
• Attend meetings, liaise with the client, subcontractors, other project departments

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law etc
• Chartered / Post Graduate Qualification
• 20 + years experience of working for contractors
• Be contractually and commercially astute
• Preferably have experience of working in the Middle East
• Fluent in French/English
