Role Summary:

In this strategic commercial position, the Director - Digital Sales Direct & Channels will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts; develop channel and technology ecosystem partners; identifying, managing and solving conflicts with clients and meeting time deadlines for customer accounts among other responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive key activities, including prospecting, strategy planning, executive relationship development, discovery assessment to deal closure
• Work closely with the other team members in the GE HC businesses in the region to drive and lead growth in service, software, and outcome-driven revenue generation.
• Develop a clear go to market strategy for targeted countries and regions and have a actionable plan to activate this as part of quarterly and annual business targets and financial objectives.
• Identify, on-board, enable and manage partners that fit the go to market strategy for the region including but not limited to commercial & technology partners that complement GE products to create a cohesive Digital ecosystem.
• Collaborate work closely with regional HCD and HCS market leaders to leverage their presence and complement their approach as part of the broader GE healthcare business objectives.
• Establish a deep understanding of customers' business needs by creating value to customers for our solution footprint.
• Analyzes sales pipeline and maintains an array of opportunities to ensure that sales goals are achieved.
• Ensuring a Professional Sales Experience for customers during all aspects of sales process and touch points including: Formal meeting agendas, formal follow-up stating sequence of events and next steps in writing, and issue resolution in a timely fashion.
• Formulate the winning proposals based on a cohesive strategy that leverages deep knowledge of industry, customer and GE product.
• Build long term strategic alliance with the portfolio of accounts to continue to add value
• Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Quality, Regulatory, integrity and company policies
• Geographic scope: EGM and Africa

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education to Masters Degree level.
• 7+ years experience in Business Management or Sales/Marketing.
• 3+ years experience in closing large, complex, strategic deals.
• Proven key account management and project planning skills.
• Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all
• levels.
• Proven track record on relationship building skills.
• High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces
• understanding and impact.

Desired Characteristics:

• Master's degree preferred
• Fluent in English language
• Healthcare experience in a commercial environment
• Direct and/or Indirect management experience; managing in a matrix organization
• Able to manage complex digital sales and delivery processes in large organizations.
