Job description / Role
Be a part of our International Consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where we oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors.
We require a Planning Engineer to manage the scheduling function for this major project.
Based in Turkey as part of the management team responsible for the scheduling through all stages of the life cycle including procurement, design and delivery.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and are able to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high level manner.
Responsibilities:
• Development of scheduling reports.
• Responsible for performing baseline schedule maintenance and control.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Monitor actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.
• Interfacing with the project technical staff to define change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
• Identify and analyse associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.
• Monitoring of site documents.
• Responsible of keeping working schedule, communication, documentation, quantities and attachments via technical offices located in the field.
• Will be responsible of preparing progress payments of similar sized projects, enforcing the Contractor demands by checking their conformity with the agreement, preparation of inspection reports, preparing final accounts and classification and arrangement of all documents pertaining to the project as well as monitoring Project process with modern methods, updating construction costs and making results thereof into reports.
Requirements
• Related Degree Qualifications is preferred but not essential.
• Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
• At least 5 years on similar jobs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.
• Knowledge of project controls principles.
• Primavera P6.
• Must have worked on planning and coordination at big projects with time pressure.
