Rolling Stock Expert - Istanbul
Our client is an international consultancy; they have an urgent requirement for a Rolling Stock Expert to join their team on a large scale rail project in Turkey. The candidate placed in this role will be responsible for supporting on all matters relating to rolling stock across the project. Candidates applying for this role must have contractor experience of testing and commissioning. You will provide expert input to the client on behalf of the client dealing with all aspects of rolling stock.
Responsibilities
• Determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems
• Work as project manager to drive contractor to complete testing and commissioning
• Apply advanced engineering and analysis techniques
• Serve as a technical consultant to the client
• Effectively manage the Test process, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Support the Engineering Director to establish a strategic proactive development plan to ensure future proof design
Requirements
Requirements
• Four year degree in engineering
• Experience working as a client representative
• Experience working for a contractor
• Experience in producing comprehensive and effective schedule of tests.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills based on technical back
• Experience working in a rolling stock management position
• Excellent knowledge of rolling stock in a test/ safety/ design environment
