Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
• Lead development and documentation of policy and procedures for contract management.
• Consult with senior managers and executive leaders on strategic and tactical strategies for implementation within Contracts Management’s programs and projects.
• Act as Business Process Integrator and Organization Change Management Change Agent within the Contracts Management business line to support its end-to-end business process methodologies, developing business requirements, providing project management and documentation, end-user education/training, and system integration and implementation.
• Lead, coach/mentor Contracts Management’s teams and/or cross-functional or matrix teams on process re-engineering and project management.
• Lead projects to review contract related accounting/finance treatment.
• Develop and maintain contract related quality policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications:
• Demonstrated accounting or finance experience
• Master's Degree in Business Administration
• Seven years of Utility Industry experience
• Experience with process re-engineering initiatives
• Familiarity with the FERC System of accounts, cost of service principles, and SAP
• Working knowledge of regulatory bodies affecting transmission and distribution business, e.g., FERC, CAISO, CPUC, NERC, etc.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 or more years’ combined experience in organizational programs, contract management or project management
• Demonstrated accounting or finance experience
• Master's Degree in Business Administration
• Seven years of Utility Industry experience
• Experience with process re-engineering initiatives
