Employment: Full Time

We are working exclusively with our multinational IT client which is featured in the Top 100 companies to work for. Recent acquisitions of smaller competitors have seen the business grow at a rapid rate, necessitating the requirement of a brand new FC.

The Country Financial Controller is responsible for Turkey’s financial activity and will report into the FD based overseas.

Responsibilities:
• Support HO Finance function in rolling out SAP across the newly acquired businesses
• Implement new billing system
• Act as a partner to in-country regional management in developing the regional business
• Build and mentor a new finance team
• Prepare and present business plans, feasibility studies, financial plans, annual budgets, forecasts and other financial or business documents to Senior and Executive Management
• Demonstrate understanding of the financial systems, operations, plans, accounting, audits, and budgets of the company
• Control the profit and loss reporting process
• Coordinate all financial planning processes
• Drive increased revenue and profitability
• Reviewing all commercial contracts
• Review performance and variances from budget and/or forecast
• Deliver the external audit, review and analyze results and recommend for approval the audited financial statements (under IFRS)
• Identify cost saving initiatives throughout the business
• Work with the Business Development team to support bid management costing to achieve revenue growth

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant preferably: CIMA, ACCA or ACA. with 10-12 years PQE, with initial training gained in Big 4
• At least 5 years in a commercial western business (MNC) at Finance Manager or FC level
• Outgoing, smart, confident, sociable & friendly personality
• Fluent in English
• Ability to deliver presentations to SMT from HQ
• Commercial mindset
• Must be a self-driven, results and deadline oriented, and have a high multi-task proficiency
• Comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment
• Solid strategic thinking, data manipulation, and financial analytical skills
• Solid experience of using SAP
