Course Overview

This course is intended for beginning to intermediate users of Autodesk Revit Architecture, Revit Structure and Revit MEP who have completed a fundamentals course and are comfortable with the program concepts and interface.

Who should take this course

This for professional with Underlying knowledge of Architectural design, Drafting or Engineering practices is recommended. However, experience of using CAD packages is advantageous but not essential. It is recommended that delegates have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/8.1/10.

Course content

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. Revit is a single software application that supports a BIM workflow from concept to construction. It allows users to design a building and structure and its components in 3D, annotate the model with 2D drafting elements, and access building information from the building model's database. Revit is 4D BIM capable with tools to plan and track various stages in the building's lifecycle, from concept to construction and later demolition.
