School leavers (Undergraduates)

Our foundation year is designed for international students who require a preparatory year prior to undergraduate study the foundation course is equivalent in learning to year 13 of the UK education system. Successful completion of year 1 of the foundation course will also guarantee you progression onto the Business Management BSc (Hons) programme. We will ensure you're fully prepared for your undergraduate programme immersing you in the university environment and giving you dedicated support in your first year in Dubai on our business management foundation course.

Year one introduces the key themes of the Business Management course. e.g. marketing organisational behaviour accounting and finance. Students are given a thorough grounding in the subject areas that they continue in later years. The modules studied will mirror the UK programme.

In year two of the Business Management programme we adopt a generalist approach although modules begin to become more focused and specialised students must take at least 10 credits from each key themes. The modules on the course mirror those modules already offered in the UK based programme. The modules have been chosen as the most appropriate modules for the coherence of the programme and the most suitable for the Dubai market.

Year three of our Business Management course features modules that are increasingly focused. The year is underpinned by a compulsory dissertation which allows the student to investigate in-depth an area of personal interest.
