This course analyses the microfunctions of human resources management and explores its strategic importance for an organisation to attract, develop, motivate and retain employees. This course invites you to discover the knowledge and develop skills in terms of employment, selection and placement and presents both the theoretical and practical aspects of Human Resource Management in a global perspective.

SCHEDULE:

• Schedules on request.
• 2 hours per day for 5 days or 2 hours per week for 5 weeks.

CONTENT: A thorough examination and appropriate application of all phases included in recruiting, selecting and retaining the most qualified applicant/employee, the process of human resource planning, generating applications (internal and external), analysing qualifications, selection methods and decisions (including test evaluation), interview methods and practice, placement and exit programs (out placement, retirement, etc.) and legal considerations.

At the end of the course, you should be able to critique job descriptions to determine skills, knowledge, experience and special requirements needed to make an appropriate job match, document recruiting methods, challenges, opportunities and sources, describe all phases of the
