ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education)

The ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Business and Management (Higher National Diploma) is a 120-credit size qualification. The ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management is a 240 credit size qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the 2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree. These qualifications are designed to develop your understanding of management and to develop key management skills.

Learners who complete the ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management qualification can progress on to a variety of Bachelor’s Degree Top-Up Programmes at a university.

ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education)

Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management is a 120-credit course (Ofqual regulated qualifications) designed to fast track students to the final year of an associated Undergraduate degree in Business and Management, which can either be completed at a UK university on campus or via distance learning. The Level 5 modules and assignments of this course are equivalent to the second year of a University Degree. This course is made up of 5 compulsory modules and 3 optional modules. Completion of this course allows the student to apply for an exemption from the first year of a university Degree course.
