Course Overview
TRIZ is the acronym for the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TIPS), which depends on broad study of world patent database made by Russian creator, Genrich Altshuller, along with his team. Altshuller discovered it, by having the focus of his research around the most critical innovations (where the solution was not evident and trade-offs were required), that innovators from totally unique specialized foundations and geographical areas were applying fundamentally the same strategies in taking care of the problems.
By studying the strategies and creating techniques to help with their
application, the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving was made.
