The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was developed so that personal interface could be brought into the business of manufacturing. QFD bridges the gap among the producers and the concerns of the users of the industrial society because of the growing distance. Moreover QFD establish the link of the need of customers with that of the design, engineering, manufacturing, development and the service functions.
