We are seeking a dynamic and experienced 3D Modelshop & Digital Fabrication Manager to lead our cutting-edge modeling and fabrication team in Umm Al Quwain. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, overseeing the production of high-quality architectural models, and managing digital fabrication processes that bring complex designs to life.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the 3D modeling and digital fabrication workshop, ensuring high standards in quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement advanced digital fabrication techniques including 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting.
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project teams to translate conceptual designs into precise physical models.
- Maintain and operate a variety of fabrication equipment, ensuring safety protocols and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Train and mentor the fabrication team to enhance skill sets and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Manage the procurement and inventory of materials and supplies for the modelshop and fabrication lab.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in digital fabrication to continuously improve processes and capabilities.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets related to modelshop and fabrication activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing model shops or digital fabrication labs, preferably within an architectural environment.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp) and digital fabrication tools (3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire creativity and productivity.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high quality and precision.
- Good organizational and project management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively across departments.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment in Umm Al Quwain.
