AC Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC systems, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and repair air conditioning systems including split units, package units, and central cooling systems
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacement, coil cleaning, and refrigerant checks
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and recommend effective solutions
Calibrate thermostats and control systems for optimal performance
Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Collaborate with other technicians and facility staff to ensure smooth operations
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local codes and standards

Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Specialist
Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical fitness and ability to work in various site conditions
Good communication skills and customer service orientation
