Access Manager MENA - Pharmaceuticals
Our client is a Multinational Pharmaceutical business currently operating in the APAC & European regions. My client is now growing a Global footprint identifying the MENA region as a key development area. Therefore they require an Access Manager to develop and grow the MENA business opportunities, becoming an Area Business Manager.
• Strategic Planning & Budgeting
Estimate the potential of current markets and distributors’ assigned, review annually. Relationship management with Key accounts. Identify new opportunities beyond existing portfolio for the region. Lead development of annual plans along with distributor for the territory / region. Give directions to distributors to prepare sales plans for their respective countries/regions and review the same.
• Sales & Marketing
Managing sales & marketing operations through agency & distributor management. Review and finalize sales budgets by customer/ product and market for the respective territory / region. Brand management through implementation of promotional strategies. Drive marketwise - sales operations. Review and finalize monthly sales plan. Identify key products in the region and submit business plan to regional head for business development.
• Business Development
Identify new opportunity areas - potential new markets, new business area and new customer's. Identify distributors’ and involve them to develop business. Evaluate opportunities beyond existing portfolio. Liaise with key customers and key products and establish mutually beneficial marketing partnerships. Promote products through customer visits, conferences, tradeshow channels etc.
• People Management
Provide direction and training to field sales team/distributor's for ensuring optimum performance. Responsible for recruiting, training, managers and distributors to deliver quality services in market.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Access / Tender Management in MENA region
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in Middle East
• Exposure to international sales and marketing MENA region
• Minimum5 years’ experience in dealing with key accounts management (MOH, Hospitals, Government bodies in MENA region)
• Entrepreneurial flair & energy
• Excellent organizational & management skills
