Do you want to be part of one of the fastest growing Bus in LEGO? We are looking for a new team member to help us develop the markets and customers in Middle East and Africa.

The LEGO Group is currently looking for a Account Manager to join our office in Dubai, UAE! The position requires the right balance between a strategic mind-set and operational attention to detail and for the right candidate offers ample opportunity to develop.

Your specific tasks include:
• Direct accountability of selected accounts
• Develop assigned customers across all parameters, incl. topline growth, in-store, stock management, theme and super category split etc.
• Manage a portfolio of several important accounts
• Implement the LEGO customer and consumer strategies within a portfolio of key accounts
• Develop strategic customer alliances with customer to facilitate the achievement of long-term LEGO objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts and be responsible for negotiating customer contracts in accordance with the overall LEGO Group sales strategy
• Monitor competitive activity within accounts
• Be responsible for identifying potential new key accounts and for the formulation and implementation of account penetration plans

Requirements

Do you have what it takes?
• Proven demonstrated experience in an account management position or a role with proven transferable skills
• Track record of delivering growth through collaborative Joint Business Planning at both strategic and executional level
• 5+ years’ experience in sales and managing distributors within the region
• Strong result orientation and collaboration skills both towards internal and external stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to handle a high amount of complexity
• Strong analytical skills, a passion for data metrics and the ability to turn analysis into actionable plans
• Resilience and ability to deal with challenging customers with ability to challenge, negotiate and collaborate with customers effectively
• High degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic is a plus
