Job description / Role
As a Client Account Manager (CAM) in Deloitte's Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) practice, you will work with senior leaders in our firm on our top Energy & Resources accounts- helping the Account Teams build relationships, win projects and manage work. You will oversee all account operations and strategic activities - keeping our practitioners "armed" and in front of the client while ensuring "back office" operations run smoothly. You will also closely work with account leadership to deliver and support Audit, Consulting, Risk, Tax and Financial Advisory business priorities to bring the best of each business to our client.
The account manager will administer account logistics and site visits to client, expand client service capabilities, support client account leadership successions, budgeting, global and local team meetings and calls, improve training and talent management initiatives, and elevate Deloitte's brand and eminence.
Responsibilities will will include some or all of the following:
Client Impact/ External Facing Activities:
- Develop and execute Client Service Strategy and Planning, Client Service Assessments, Marketing Strategy, Client and Alumni Relationship Management, Client Meeting Preparation, and Proposal Support
Account Operations/Internal Team Management Activities:
- Manage Account Meetings, Team Communications, Opportunity Management, Onboarding/Offboarding of team members,Knowledge Management, and support Account Financial Management as needed
Contract, Risk and Quality Management Activities:
- Manage Contract Management activities
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 - 8 years of experience with project management and good energy/O&G sector acumen
- Demonstrated account management or consulting experience
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - strong PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring/counseling others
- Experience working in a professional services firm
- Energy & Resources experience
