Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are a Dubai based, expat (Kiwi) owned company building brands in the Middle East. We manage the marketing, sales, distribution and finance requirements for several brands and also buy/sell products directly. We work with world leading brands and have been operating in the region since 1999, with our key personnel having worked here for over 20 years. We are a diverse team of nationalities, ages and backgrounds and together are a group of fun individuals who enjoy a relaxed working atmosphere. We are flexible and accommodating and reward good team spirit and work ethic.

You will be working on predominantly New Zealand food products, such as Silver Fern Farms beef and lamb, Tegel chicken, Sealord fish and others.

You will work under the guidance of a Regional Sales Manager. You will also have admin, marketing, management and finance support through other personnel.

You will manage food retailers in the market - running sampling campaigns, gathering feedback from stores, selling products into stores and identifying new opportunities.

Create Account Strategy (a detailed document that shows the targeted sales and how those targets will be reached)
- Identify optimal stores for each product based on suitability of the product
- Identify key accounts and key relationships
- Build targeted sales plan

Perform account sales and management
- Perform sales calls on accounts
- Introduce new products to potential customers
- Run sampling campaigns
- Manage existing customers and promote increases in sales of new and current products
- Analyse sales data from accounts and identify sales opportunities
- Identify marketing opportunities and liaise with marketing team on these
- Manage inquiries and complaints

Report
- Monitor stock levels and identify timing and volume of orders
- Record customer interaction and sales process in CRM tool on daily basis
- Provide monthly sales report showing actual versus forecasted sales, hurdles and barriers to sales and sales opportunities

Requirements

Successful candidate must:
- Be well groomed and presentable
- Have a valid passport
- Work well unsupervised, maintain strong motivation, be flexible with hours of work
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience in sales of food products to retail accounts
- Have strong communication skills
- Have knowledge of sales drivers across food products
- Have a valid driver’s license

Successful candidate may have:
- Work experience through the Middle East
- Work history in meat, poultry or fish
