Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for managing the General Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Financial Reporting functions and timely closing of the Oracle Finance modules.
- Responsible for analytical variance analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies, UAE Law and IFRS.
- Approve internal finance procedures are in place, documented, communicated and implemented
- Monitor implementation by regular feedback & audit
- Individual objectives, training and development plans in place for all direct reports within the timescales defined by the corporate Performance Management process.
- Frequency of feedback & appraisal meetings.
- Financial variance versus budget
- All statutory, regulatory and internal financial reporting requirements met
- Accuracy of budget.
- Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements.
- Effective communication of policies and procedures.
- Effectiveness of cash management
- Credibility of Client
- Optimal liquidity maintained
- Lead the development of appropriate systems and procedures (to be reviewed and approved by senior management) covering all areas of financial controls, systems & forms and oversee their implementation so that all departmental activities are carried out effectively and economically and proper systems are in place to run all financial operations smoothly.
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy, and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of financial policies and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

Salary:
AED 35,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience:
- University degree in a financial or accounting discipline.
- Fully qualified accounting professional (CPA or equivalent)
- 10 years of experience in Public Accounting preferably in Aerospace industry with a minimum 3 years in a managerial position
- Experience of interacting with external auditors and representatives of national/international financial institutions
- Advanced financial analysis skills
