Account Operations Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant / Account Operations Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and account operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to management.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Account Operations Management:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and controls to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for audits and compliance reviews.
• Interact with various banks on local and international landscape

Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and account operations
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Superb communication skills.
