Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We have an opening for an accountant. The candidate should hold CPA with relevant experiences.

Daily Activities:

Updating the Finance Reports:
- Analysis of All Onyx Units
- Receipt Register - Unit Instalments and other fees
- Receiving collections for unit instalments of Onyx and preparing the Receipt Vouchers accordingly.
- Preparing Onyx statement of accounts, follow up letter on outstanding dues as requested by customer service.
- Coordinating and following up with banks and suppliers for Ishraqah’ and Onyx transactions
- Handling Petty Cash of Ishraqah’

Weekly Activities:
- Preparing Weekly Ishraqah’ and Onyx Cash Forecasts
- Initial checking of Ishraqah’ and Onyx supplier invoices, processing for payment, cheque preparation and Payment Vouchers

Monthly Activities:
- Preparing Ishraqah’ and Onyx Monthly Reports
- Preparing of Monthly Bank Reconciliations of Ishraqah’ and Onyx
- Preparing Onyx Monthly Cash Forecast
- Preparing of Journal Vouchers for Ishraqah’ and Onyx
- Preparing for payment reminders, follow-up letters and final demand letters being sent to Onyx customers
- Preparing the Month-end Petty Cash Report

Yearly Activities:
- Preparing RERA Reports (RT/02 and RT/04) of Onyx
- Preparing audit work paper for the Financial Statements of Ishraqah’ and Onyx

Other Activities:
- Monitoring license renewals, JAFZA activities with Puthran for Ishraqah’ and Onyx
- Preparing initial draft of correspondences and reply letters to be sent to customers in Onyx with complaints
- Preparing initial draft of correspondences to banks for Onyx
- Preparing the Month-end Petty Cash Report
- Handling tasks assigned by the Financial Controller as required

Candidate should be smart, energetic, self motivated and professional.
