Job description / Role
- Summarizes and prepares current financial status/reports by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports needed.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Reconciles/Examine financial accounts discrepancies.
- Prepares and request for payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing payments from clients.
- Handles Accounts payable and receivable of the company.
- Organize and maintain financial records.
- Develop and determine company’s budget.
- Inspect/Create account books and accounting systems to keep up to date.
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Perform additional duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience in a financial or accounting environment/role is required.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, procedures and analytical methodologies sufficient to generate financial reports.
- Experience and proficiency in the use of PCs, spreadsheets and other business graphics software.
- Strong technical, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in English is highly required.
- Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management,General Math Skills is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
