Accountant

Job description / Role

• Oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger in all aspects.
• Maintain organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions and all journal entries.
• SAP ERP implementation and new module setup
• Build modules in SAP and input daily data entry
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
• Ensure all balances are properly supported and documented
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
• Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested
• Reviewing and approving journal entries
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Responsible for month end closing, GL, AP, AR, internal/ external financial reports

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in accounting
• Proficient in Advanced Excel Functions
• Minimum: 3 Years accounting and SAP experience
• Must: Strong knowledge of SAP
• Must: Already be located in the UAE.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, facilitate, liaise, consult and present effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Confident, with strong work ethic and a professional outlook.
• High attention to detail with an ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks to achieve outcomes within specified time constraints while promoting strong, continuous improvement and customer-focused culture.
